Post Traumatic Stress – 6 Week Programme

This is a highly effective, yet gentle, 6 week programme which gets deep into the root cause of the stress symptoms being presented, without having to re-live it or re-experience it.  Post traumatic stress is understood to be a subconscious injury, when the memories of disturbing or upsetting incidents and emotions – often beginning in childhood – are repressed.  However, the subconscious has access to a full recollection of events, and creates physical reactions to certain stimuli, for which the person may have no rational context, such as flashbacks and nightmares, or feelings of guilt, shame, and fear.

Through guided hypnotherapy, when insight is gained, the context for the reaction becomes clear and a person is able to rationalise their reactions, and their symptoms and emotions simply disappear.

Understanding the nature of trauma is the first step towards healing. By recognising how past experiences continue to impact your present behaviour and emotions, you can begin to unravel the layers of pain and start the journey towards healing.
