Trust The Process Hypnotherapy
Clinical hypnotherapy is a process which can get to the root of physical and emotional stress-related symptoms quickly and efficiently and help a person overcome them. Common symptoms include stress, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, insomnia, IBS, amongst others.
If you are struggling with these challenges then hypnotherapy can help.
Post Traumatic Stress is not a life sentence!
Hypnotherapy is an effective means of alleviating the debilitating emotional and physical symptoms associated with trauma, without the need to reveal or relive the experience(s).
Imagine a life liberated from the constraints of such pain.
Don’t allow past trauma to define you
Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are.
It’s natural, and completely understandable, to want to escape from painful memories or traumatic experiences – by creating another version of you that you display to the world so that everyone thinks you’re just a ‘normal’ person, just getting on with life. Maybe you’ve spent a lifetime convincing yourself that ‘all is well’, that it doesn’t matter what you’ve been through, it’s not affected you and you’ve turned out ok actually, all things considered… what’s in the past is in the past!
Maybe though, there’s that niggling feeling that you’re not being authentic – maybe you’re drinking a bit too much, and a bit too often, maybe your moods and emotions swing from one end of the scale to the other – you’re either a wallflower or a party-animal, or you’re a prolific people-pleaser. Maybe you push people you care about away. Or maybe your health is suffering. Any of these resonate? The list of physical and emotional effects caused by trauma is too long to capture here but there are many.
Whether consciously or unconsciously, the effects of past negative experiences may have made you try to forget events to find peace. But if you’re reading this then you’ll know that peace doesn’t come by burying it deep within, and kidding yourself that you’ve dealt with it so you can fake being someone you’re not – eventually you won’t be able to ignore it.
Instead of trying to erase your past by denying it, accept it as a part of your story. Understand it. Make peace with it. Because your experiences, though challenging, have made you resilient and compassionate – even if you’re not at the stage where think that to be true today, but they have.
Through self-acceptance and self-compassion, you will find the courage to redefine yourself, not as a victim of circumstance, but as a survivor who thrives despite adversity.
When you take away the negative emotional response to a painful memory you have given yourself back the ability to have choices about your present and your future.
And hypnotherapy is excellent at helping with that!
You will not be asked to speak about it or explain it, if you don’t want to. Your subconscious knows exactly what’s needed for you to heal.
I want you to know that you need not suffer one day more.
If you’re ready for change, then call if you’d like a chat to see how I can support you with that.
